Elektra, an ensemble devised adaptation of The Libation Bearers, revolves around the dynamics of family and power and how memory can be used as both a way to comfort and to control. Set against the backdrop of the home front after a war abroad, the piece combines songs, text and imagery to explore both the public and private lives of a family on the verge of collapse.
