The Broadwater Mainstage
1078 Lillian Way
Los Angeles, CA 90038
Conceived and directed by Katharine Noon
Inspired by the mythical character of Circe, this contemporary piece centers around an aging Classics professor, who feels increasingly disconnected from her students and the world. Her building frustration leads to her spectacularly crossing a line. In the aftermath she escapes from society and isolates herself on the side of a remote mountain. An isolation that is about to be destroyed by the arrival of a young grieving video gamer.
Devised in workshop with the Ghost Road ensemble and guest artists
