Super Duper

Super Duper

Through an experience that is both solitary and communal, Super Duper asks where the truth resides in a world that defines itself by manufactured personae. While both observing and personally engaging in this journey, the audience experiences the perspectives of various individuals exploring a pivotal and complex relationship they all all shared.

Ghost Road will present an expanded version of the Super Duper free live Zoom Pandemic Excerpt on July 31 (8pm) and August 1 (4pm, 6pm, 8pm). Spots are limited; there will only be 21 attendees per performance. See reservation link below.

Inspired in part by Itaru Sasaki’s Wind Phone, this work marks a new direction for the ensemble as we fuse our collaborative techniques with elements of immersive and interactive performance.

Over those days we presented four approximately 45-minute long performances of this work-in-progress. Developed in workshop by the ensemble (Christine Breihan, Ronnie Clark, Adam Dlugolecki, Ray Ford, Kim Glann, John Guerra, Jen Kays, Cricket Myers, Katharine Noon, Mark Seldis, and Brian Weir) and directed by Katharine Noon, this was a virtual adaptation from a piece Ghost Road has been working on for some time.
