Ghost Road’s adaptation of The Oresteia was presented in its entirety in Spring 2009.

A trilogy more than 10 years in the making and inspired in part by The Oresteia, this highly theatrical, multi-media piece explores the intimate lives of one powerful family and their ill-fated decisions born out of vengeance for past wrongs. The drama is played out against the backdrop of an unpopular war overseas and the social, political and emotional impact of such a war on those left at home.

“An ambitious piece of cerebral theatre . . . the novelty of Noon’s approach is captivating. The clash of antiquity and contemporary life generates colorful sparks.” -Los Angeles Times, April 3, 2009
